Hey! I’m Michelle Meng.
You can also call me: Mimi, Mish, M&M...
Enjoy my awkward side eye…
Curiosity didn’t kill the cat. It opened her eyes to the world of possibilities.
My Chinese name, “Mimi,” literally means “Cat.” My mom imagined a well-behaved little Chinese girl. Instead, she got a mischievous kid who ran through every grocery aisle, broke 5 pairs of her grandpa’s glasses, and asked endless “WHYs”.
I may have stopped running around grocery stores(or not…), but I never stopped chasing the whys.
That curiosity became my creative fuel. As an Art Director, I’m fascinated by unexpected ways people come up with the most bizarre concepts from mint-chocolate tteokbokki to Chinese folk dancing robots.
To me, creativity is permission to wonder, experiment, and see how else things could work.
Still the curious cat. Just a little more grown up.
